Drag the lower part of the waveform to move the start or end, the upper part to shape the fades.
Tap: a note that loops and fades. Hold: solo voice — slide sideways for pitch, up and down for the filter; a second finger sliding up or down shifts octaves (or sets the glide; see Second finger during solo). Edit (top right): pinch between delay and reverb, slide two fingers up or down for wet/dry, twist two fingers clockwise toward the flanger or anticlockwise toward the phaser, through off in the middle (the grid behind the notes shows all of these), slide three fingers up or down to step the shimmer between an octave down, off, an octave up and two octaves up, slide four fingers up or down to move the whole loop an octave. Sample (bottom right) opens the sound editor: the synth bell's attack and decay, and the sample's trim and fades. Double-tap to add a note, hold a glow to pick it up and move it (while holding it, slide another finger sideways to set how loud it is — all the way down and let go to remove it — or up/down to move it an octave), slide one finger up or down to shift the octave (new notes only, or placed notes too — see Octave swipe). Freeze (the ice cube, bottom left, in both modes) stops the loop from fading. Binaural drone (headphones; or monaural — see Drone beats): while holding a solo note with its second finger down, put a third finger down and spread those two apart — a drone starts on the held note, a slightly different tone in each ear that the ear hears as a slow beat. In Edit, hold the drone and drag it: up/down for its note, sideways for the beat rate (1 Hz at the left edge to 30 Hz at the right); set its volume or remove it with a second finger, like a note. Its pitch shows under it in Hz; in binaural mode it turns amber above 500 Hz, where the beat starts to weaken, and red above 1000 Hz, where most people hardly hear it. Monaural beats need no headphones and work at any pitch. Drone through effects sends some of it into the reverb/delay (its lows filtered out first); the clean tones stay as they are. The four-finger loop move leaves it where it is. Clear loop stops it too.

Tap to plant notes that loop and slowly fade. Hold a finger for a solo voice. Switch to Edit and pinch the space between echo and reverb. Headphones bring out the binaural parts.
